How Time Flies!

12914843_10153321894867163_755225151_oFive years ago today, myself and my ex-partner’s three kids buried four jars around the garden, containing notes and drawings and things that represented our lives in that moment in time. We then drew a treasure map, and decided that we would dig them up on the 26th March 2016.

The weather is terrible, but we went out in the rain in our wellies with a spade, and Luc and I dug up our capsules. The girls will be around later next week, so they will dig theirs up then.

12904006_10153321893472163_1848713509_oMine was easy to find, as I had tucked it into the hollow of a tree, and then placed a tribal metal face to protect it.

12903753_10153321893162163_1839105323_oLuc’s was a little more interesting to find! We knew which tree it was, and roughly where, but in no time at all, the spade hit a rock. A giant rock. That didn’t move. A little bit confused, we dug around it, and gradually it started moving.

We had to get a crowbar in the end, to help us ease the rock out, which had actually become attached to the tree root! We managed to lift it out (how we put it in there five years ago, I have no idea) and then with a little more digging. we found Luc’s jar. Phew!

Muddy and wet, we hosed the jars off, and then came back in to reveal the contents. Luc was only seven years old then, so his jar contained adorable drawings of the things he liked at the time. And a message from his sister!

My jar contained lots of bits, including three lucky stars I had tucked tiny notes into, a haiku, an affirmation card, my lucky golden cat, an almondy tart label, (I loved it!), a Lindt white chocolate wrapper, the February calendar, and a lucky penny!

12919542_10153321887367163_173686854_oI also had a note in there about me at that time as well as some pretty wise advice to my 32-year-old self! The date on the note is the 27th February, because that’s when we created the time capsules, but we didn’t bury them until the 26th March.

Some of my predictions have come true, when we did this in 2011, I had yet to publish any books, and wasn’t anywhere near being a well-known author!

Would highly recommend doing this, especially with kids, as five years is a long time, and it’s fun to look back at what they loved! When creating it, they might not understand why it’s fun or important, but when they dig it up, it’s like time travelling back to that moment.

Just don’t place massive rocks on top that will get entangled in tree roots!

Twin Flame Separation

I have written a lot of about Twin Flames in my novels, and I have done many Oracle Readings for those who are seeking, or who are separate from their Flames. I get lots of emails and questions from those who are in pain, and I know that my previous posts about Twin Flame separation get viewed every day.

The pain that comes from being separated from your Flame is something I’m quite familiar with, and I can completely empathise with anyone going through it, and have done many times.

In this post though, I want to focus on what makes a Twin Flame relationship work, and how to perceive the separation differently, so that it is no longer as painful. This post is based entirely on my own experiences, and the information that comes to me when I write, and I hope that it may help other Flames out there.

I have talked about how I feel that the Flames are reuniting because Earth Angels are feeling out of place on Earth and are wanting to go home, where they belong. Being with a Twin Flame feels the same as being home. Therefore, your Flame becomes your home. This is great if you are together, but when there is a separation, it can make you feel like you are homeless. Like you are adrift at sea, like you don’t belong anywhere. And for an Earth Angel, those are dangerous things to feel, because it will make them want to go home to their own realm again, and get off this planet.

The Twin Flame Resurrection

I know that I have felt that way over and over. Like I have no home, I don’t belong. It became easier to cope with over time, after several separations and reunions, but it was still difficult. This year, however, it has changed.

The change has come from a shift in perception. Instead of feeling homeless when separated from my Flame, I am choosing to see my time away from him as an adventure, as a journey that I need to embark on. And that no matter what happens, one day, I will return home to him again. Of course, it helps that we are both still very connected and have reached a stage where we are completely transparent with one another. We don’t hide how we feel, and can still tell each other anything.

Recently, I created a short class in the online Earth Angel Training Academy, about the 3 keys to a happy Twin Flame union. The three keys are needed in all relationships, not just Twin Flame relationships, but I think they are even more important to have in the right quantities in between Flames.

If you are reading this, and you are separated from your Flame, and you are in pain, please know that I and your Angels are surrounding you with love and light, and that you are not alone. It may be impossible at first, to consider looking at the situation in a different way, but when you are ready, if you can change your perception, then it can truly change your life, and give you the energy to focus on your mission on this planet.

Reconnecting with the Goddess

This week, I headed to Glastonbury with my mum, for a few days of much-needed chill out time. We stayed in a gorgeous cottage, the Glastonbury Rose (which I would highly recommend) which fit our needs perfectly. On the first afternoon, we enjoyed the sunshine and visited some of the many funky shops, taking in the beautiful clothes and crystals, then we got some tasty gluten-free and veggie ready meals (it’s funny how ready meals are now such a novelty and a treat!) and we relaxed and watched a movie.

On the Tuesday, with me dressed in my best faerie gear, we headed for the indoor market where I planned to have a reading with a psychic called Mitch Garlington. A friend of a friend had also had a reading with Mitch back in January, and I had appeared in that reading. So I figured I should get one for myself.

The amount of information that Mitch packed into our 20 minutes was quite incredible, and everything I have been told recently was confirmed, as well as my current path. My nan came through with something that I haven’t ever told anyone before. It was an incredible reading, and one of the points he made was that I had a Goddess Spirit Guide who was waiting to work with me, but I had not been letting her through.

Doing our best not to get blown over!

So on our final day, when it was blowing a gale, my mum and I headed for the Tor. My intention was to allow the wind to literally blow away everything I needed to release and let go of, in order to connect with my Spirit Guide, and reconnect with the Goddess within myself. We set off up the hill, and the combination of the steep steps and the wind made it a very slow process. As we expressed out loud all we wanted to release, however, I found my steps getting lighter and lighter, until I found it easy to scale the hill, almost dancing along! Then we turned the corner and the winds hit us full force, and we had to hold onto each other in order to remain upright.

The Gateway to the Goddess

We made it finally to the Tor, where we sheltered from the relentless winds, and in walking through the doorway of the Tor, I intended that I was walking through the gateway to connect with the Goddess.

Once we had caught our breath and become calm again, we set off back down the hill, again holding each other for extra stability, then once we were low enough, the winds died down around us, and we made the rest of the journey with ease.

We made it!

We then visited the Chalice Wells and I found a pendant that perfectly captured the essence of what had just transpired.

The Amethyst Goddess

Afterwards, we felt windswept, yet exhilarated. Getting to the top was such a struggle at times that the view was so much sweeter, and the way home so much easier. The whole journey reminded me of what we go through when we are following our path to accomplish our missions.

At first, the path seems steep, arduous and slow. Then as we let go of everything that holds us back. our step becomes lighter, and we find things flow much more easily. Once we have reached a certain place, we find then that things are thrown at us relentlessly, but in order to reach our desires, we must push ahead, and gather those who believe in us to help and support us. Finally, we reach the top, our desired destination, and we relax and rest, and enjoy the view. Our journey home then, is easy and straightforward, though we do still need the love and support of our friends and family. When we reach the end, which is the same place as the beginning, we realise that we are capable of doing anything that we set our minds to. And that no matter how difficult we perceive things to be, and no matter whether the conditions are right or not, if we wish to do it, then we must persevere.

The next journey after that would hopefully be easier, in that we have the faith in ourselves that we can see things through, that we can get to where we wish to go.

So wherever you are in your journey, I hope that you take away from this post the fact that you can do anything you set your mind to, all you need to do is go for it.
