They have arrived! Velvet, Amethyst and Aria have designed their own Oracle cards, which offer their advice to other Earth Angels. There are 24 cards in a deck, each with a different title and advice. The back of the cards … Continue reading
A lazy lie-in, lemon pancakes with berry compote and vanilla ice cream, a homemade smoothie and a five-star review for my book, The Doorway to PAM. Seriously, every day should start this way! For those of you who wish to … Continue reading
My favourite place to write is out on the balcony, in the sun. Due to the ridiculously wet weather we’ve been having this summer, I’ve resorted to a small table in front of the french doors that lead out to the balcony. Just the other day, I was writing my new novel, when I looked up to see a deer and her young wandering through the garden. The way she stared at me when I took this photo sparked my imagination, who knows, she may even feature in a future novel.
I think it’s important to have an inspirational place to sit and write, what do you think?

Had another tweet today, from Sofia Quintero telling me about the Sugar Cube Factory. It’s a fantastic concept, and I love the video. They have a project on Kickstarter, and with just 10 days to go they need more funding, so please go along to their project page and donate a few dollars if you can!

Don’t you just love synchronicity? Just as I’m beginning to spread the word about my new blog – Indie Acts of Kindness, I receive a Tweet from an organisation called Life Vest Inside, with a link to their video on Youtube – which is all about kindness. I watched it immediately and loved it, and I have put the video here for you to see because I know you will love it too.
For thirty days, I duelled with another poet. Each day, one of us would set a topic, and by midnight we would have to produce a poem on said topic. It was quite a challenge, considering I hadn’t written much poetry in years. He however, is a professional poet, and you can find his books on Kindle here.
So after those 30 days, we decided to embark on another challenge, no topics this time, but the poem would have to be Tweet-sized, and posted on Twitter every day with the hashtag – #duellingpoets
So if you want to follow our duel, just search for us, and perhaps start your own duel!
