Linen & Aria’s Faerie Book Club

A while ago, I had the idea of starting a book club. And like many of my ideas, I just didn’t get the time to make it a reality. But now I am!

Starting in March 2019, the Linen & Aria Faerie Book Club on Facebook will explore the Earth Angel Series in greater depth, reading and discussing one book a month. There will be live sessions and discussions and readers can ask me anything they want about the series.

I’m really excited about the book club because it will give me a chance to re-read the books, revisit the characters and interact more with my amazing readers who helped to shape the series.

If you have read and loved the series, or not even started reading them yet, please do join us! I would love to see you there.

Hello, it’s Aria! (Yes, I’m a Faerie)

Finally! I have been waiting for ages for Michelle to be too busy to blog and for her to ask me to write one! She keeps saying about creating a blog just for me, but has she done it yet? No! Of course, she’s just too busy. Humph.

Oh, yeah, by the way, it’s Aria. I’m a Faerie. Yep. You read that right. I have dragonfly wings and everything. And I’m a super fast flier. Just ask Linen. If you don’t know who Linen is, and want to know more about just how awesome I am, then you should read Michelle’s book – The Earth Angel Training Academy. I’m one of the main characters, and I have all the best lines. Cos, well, you know. I’m awesome.

So anyway, Michelle is busy editing the new book in the Earth Angel series (which I’m not in, which totally sucks!) and so I said I would take over, though I have no idea what to say, really.

It seems like the weather in the UK is a little messed up at the moment, with far too much rain for summertime, which means that lots of mushrooms have started growing in the woods, which I kind of like, actually. Here’s some cool photos of them, in case you were curious.

Michelle has started doing a card a day mini readings on Instagram, where she’s also posting lots of funky photos, if you want to follow her, hop on over there. Personally I think she likes Instagram too much, and spends too much time on there that could be spent building my blog, but nevermind. One day, eh?

Until then, I’ll just take over her blog every now and then, though next time, I promise I’ll have something more interesting to say. Maybe. Hopefully. Anyway, have a great day, and don’t forget to say hi to the Faeries when you’re outside. Okay. Love you! Bye!

PS. Let the grass grow!!!

What My Characters Have Taught Me – Aria

Aria is without a doubt, my favourite character. When I first read through The Earth Angel Training Academy, having written it in just over two months, I couldn’t help but giggle at Aria’s fantastic lines. Her cheeky, slightly naughty, infallibly honest nature shines out and I love writing anything with her in it!

One of the primary things I have learnt from Aria is to have fun. To not take anything too seriously. She hated the fact that humans seem to be so boring and serious, and did everything possible to have as much fun as she could. She chose not to go to Earth in the first book, because she couldn’t bear the idea of losing her wings and becoming a heavy human, and I have to say – I’m with her on that one!

Another thing I learnt from Aria, is that honesty really is the best policy. She always says what she thinks, and is always open with her opinion. She hates to hurt anyone’s feelings, but cannot help but tell the truth, and because she is coming from a place of innocence, it’s difficult for anyone to be annoyed with her. One of my readers said that Aria irritated her in the beginning, but then she completely fell in love with her, which is generally how it goes with Faeries!

But the best thing I learnt from Aria is that as long as there’s chocolate, then everything will be just fine!

Fan Art! Calling all readers and artists…

I have just created a new page on my blog, to display Fan Art created by my readers! I would love it if you felt inspired to create images related to the characters or to scenes in my books. Please send them to me at theamethystangel@hotmail.co.uk and I will feature them in my posts as well as put them on the Fan Art page.

To get us started, Aria created the following picture, which I must say, she was very proud of!
