New Cover Reveal!!

I know I have been very quiet lately, and I do apologise – things have been so busy! And April looks to be even busier, because I plan to release my latest book – The Twin Flame Retreat – on the 25th April! (Hopefully in both paperback and Kindle on that date). This new book is the direct sequel to The Twin Flame Reunion, and follows five new characters as they meet their Twin Flames.

My incredible amazing sister, the genius behind madappledesigns, has worked her magic again and has created the new cover, which I am so excited to share with you! Are you ready? Drum roll please!

And because she is just that awesome, Liz has created the 3D version of the cover, which I must admit, made me squeal like a very happy Faerie!

Isn’t it beautiful? I cannot wait for you to read it! I have really enjoyed writing and creating this latest instalment to the series, and going by the beta feedback so far, I think everyone will enjoy it!

I will post updates on how the publishing is going throughout April!

P.S. Apologies for the excessive exclamation marks, I’m a bit excited 🙂

An Interpretation of My Books

One of my readers in the US contacted me a little while back and said that she loved my Earth Angel books so much, that she wanted to write an essay about her interpretation of them. Of course I said to go ahead, I was really curious to see the books from someone else’s perspective, as reviews only really say how much people enjoy the books – they don’t really analyse the content.

Well, Rosa sent me the links to both her essay, and a video of her reading and discussing the essay, and I have to say, I was really surprised at the things that she got from the text and the books. She focused on Velvet, and on her conflict between surrendering and attachment. I have never personally delved into Velvet’s mind in this way, but I think that Rosa is definitely onto something!

I really enjoyed watching her video and reading the essay, it certainly had me thinking about the characters in a different way afterwards, and I really think that my readers will gain something from watching the video. Especially anyone who is having trouble with their Twin Flame union, because Rosa discusses this, and I think she makes some very good points.

You can read the essay on her website here, and watch the video below.

[youtube http://youtu.be/XlbhtZ0mp34]

Rosa also recorded a review video, which you can view below.

[youtube http://youtu.be/dkoD2asn2gw]

I just want to express my gratitude to Rosa for looking more deeply into my books, as I hope that others do too. I am certain that there are more messages and ideas within them than even I am aware of! If you want to share your thoughts on my books in any way, please do so in the comments, I’d love to hear from you.

Time to Walk Away

Dear Twin Flames,

I know it’s been a while since I wrote to you, I’m sorry. I have been so caught up in my own stuff, my own dramas, that I have neglected you, I do hope you can forgive me.

Today’s letter is not a happy one I’m afraid. Today’s letter is to tell you that you do not need to keep breaking your heart over and over. That you do not need to suffer any more.

This letter is to tell you that it’s time to let go. It’s time to move on. You are far too beautiful, far too important to be hurting like this. Because the pain is stopping you from shining. It’s holding you back.

Do not hold yourself back any longer. If your Flame repeatedly pushes you away, then they simply cannot see your magnificence, they cannot understand how incredible you are.

And until they decide to change their old beliefs, they will continue to pull you in then push you away.

As difficult as it is, it is time for you to say – ‘no more.’

The cycle must end. And you must end it. So when you leave, and the time comes when they reach out, wanting you back, you must say no. You must put yourself first. Otherwise you cannot hope to pursue your mission, your reason for being here.

Perhaps, one day, they will finally understand. Perhaps, one day, a reunion, a wholehearted, harmonious reunion will be possible.

But until then, you have to let go.

It will hurt like hell. But I can promise you this – staying in the cycle will hurt more.

And know that when the pain feels like too much – the angels are with you, always, keeping you safe.

You are so very loved, beautiful Flame. Do not let this pain extinguish your spark.

Sending you so much love and light,

Michelle

xx

goodbye

First Oracle Reading of 2015!

It’s taken me a while to get to record this video, in answer to Brittney’s question about her Twin Flame. It was amazing how many similarities there were between Brittney and the man she feels is her Twin Flame and me and my Twin Flame. I sincerely hope that the reading helps her, and other Twin Flames who may also be in a similar situation, as I believe that there is a lot of good general advice for Twin Flames from Velvet and Amethyst in the reading too.

Please do leave feedback on the reading in the comments if it has helped you, and if you have a question of your own, email it to theamethystangel@hotmail.co.uk

The Twin Flame Reunion is Available in Paperback!

Just wanted to announce that The Twin Flame Reunion is now available to order from Amazon in paperback! I intended to have it available on the 8th, but due to the internet connection cutting off for several hours, I couldn’t get it all approved in time!

The Twin Flame Reunion

The link to buy it on Amazon is: viewbook.at/twinflamereunion

It is of course also available on Kindle, and if you haven’t yet read the first three books in the series I would definitely recommend doing that! You can buy all three in paperback or as a Kindle Boxset to catch up.

The Twin Flame Reunion has one review so far, from Sarah Vine, and she says:

I absolutely LOVED this latest book in the Earth Angel Series … I actually had to pace myself once I started reading this as I could of easily read it in one go, even if it took all day and night!
When I got to the last page, I was like nooooooo!!!! I was actually trying to swipe to the next page on my kindle and then realised it was the end…. or is it? I know Michelle has the next one ready and I for one am very excited about that!!!

If you read and love The Twin Flame Reunion, please do leave a review on Amazon. I look forward to hearing what you think.

Goodbye 2014! Hello 2015!

Happy New Year Everyone!

2014 was a weird year, both a long and a short one, a happy and a sad one. Just thought I would write a summary of the year, in order to acknowledge and release the old, to make way for the new that 2015 will bring. It’s a long post, so grab a cuppa!

I started the year with an amazing Harry Potter themed birthday party. I had mixed feelings about turning 30. Part of me was more than ready to say goodbye to my twenties, and another part of me was listing all of the things I had hoped to have done by this time but hadn’t. In truth, as I near my 31st birthday, I don’t really feel all that different, and when I tell people my age, it feels merely like a random number, than something that has any significance.

Also in January, I began my ‘Ask an Angel’ Oracle readings on my YouTube channel, inviting people to ask Aria, Amethyst or Velvet a question which I would then answer with their oracle cards. In 2014, I recorded twenty readings, and half of those were questions about Twin Flames, which is what inspired me to write more on the subject, as you can see from the many posts now on my blog.

My most popular blog post in January was my views on how to deal with criticism, after becoming the subject of derision in someone else’s blog.

In February, I embarked on the Man Brain Box Experiment, and though I only did it for a week, it did remind me that in fact, having a single focus make you far more productive than if you are to multi-task. I think it’s increasingly difficult, in this age of the internet and social media, to retain a single focus on anything, with so many demands for our attention (she says, surrounded by her phone, iPad and open tabs on her laptop) it can be difficult to shut out all the distractions and get on with something, and put everything you have into it. But I do think it’s worth it.

In March, I finally finished writing I’m Here, which I had started and stopped writing two Novembers previously and seemed to be stuck on. I was so happy to finally finish it, and when coming up with cover ideas, I had the inspiration to change the covers of three of my previous books, and bring them together into a collection. With the help of my awesome sister, I then set to work on getting the new covers of the Visionary Collection sorted out, and I released the whole collection, including the new book, in May. The paperbacks were delayed by technical issues, but finally came out by August.

In March I also had a few realisations on my plans, and on whose advice to listen to, and when to take it with a pinch of salt. I also discovered the wondrous joy of Scapple and had a go at using the Chronodex to organise my life.

In April I celebrated the 5 year anniversary of the birth of the first few words of the The Earth Angel Training Academy, and reviewed the journey with the book so far. I took part in the Wellness Symposium in Cirencester, I was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award, and I revealed the new covers for the Visionary Collection for the first time.

In May I embarked on the I’m Here Book Tour, to celebrate the release of the new book, by giving away little cards all around the world, that contained a QR code allowing you to download a free PDF copy of the book. I had so much fun with this idea, and was really pleased with how it went. You can see the map of where the book was downloaded, and the link will remain active, so if you haven’t yet read I’m Here and would like to, please click here to download your free copy! If you have read it, and you enjoyed it, please do leave me a review on Amazon, I’d really appreciate it.

The tour continued with gusto throughout June, and in that month I teamed up with Sarah Vine, founder of the Earth Angel Sanctuary, to offer her members a free copy of The Earth Angel Training Academy, and I also wrote a letter to all Twin Flames, after seeing so many beautiful souls searching for answers on the subject.

In July, I attended the Healing Weekend, and had an amazing time, I recorded the first chapter of The Elphite as an audiobook, I recorded a video of some crazy deer in the garden, which went viral on YouTube (over 26k hits now!), I did a talk and sold books at the MBS Psychic Fayre in Newport, and I relaxed and went with the flow when things seemed to be going very wrong.

In August, the paperback editions of the Visionary Collection became available on Amazon, I was interviewed by Sarah Vine, and I embarked on a new adventure to the vibrant city of Brighton. I began to write more about Twin Flames, and at the very end of August, I started writing my latest book, The Twin Flame Reunion. I met one of my fans, Chip Jenkins, who is now one of my closest friends.

September was my quietest blogging month of 2014, due to my full time job, doing 50 hour weeks left me with little energy to write. I blogged about listening to your own intuition, and then at the end of the month, about knowing your own worth and not settling for less. The highlight of the month came in the form of a beautiful letter from a man who had decided that his life was worth living after reading The Earth Angel Training Academy.

In October, I took part in the Writer’s Blog Tour, I finished writing The Twin Flame Reunion and I started offering guidance sessions to fellow Earth Angels.

In November I released the cover for the Reunion, I blogged about the idea of changing our own fate, I started writing the next book in the Earth Angel series – The Twin Flame Retreat – and completed it in two weeks, and I released the Visionary Collection Kindle Boxset.

Okay, one month left!

In December, I celebrated winning Nanowrimo, even though I didn’t join in until the 16th November, I released the Earth Angel Series Boxset on Kindle, I started my Adventure with Astrid, and I decided to spend my Christmas in London, taking part in the Basket Brigade and volunteering for Crisis for Christmas. I also packed up and left Brighton, and am currently figuring out my next move.

So to sum up – a pretty busy year, lots of changes, challenges, high and low points, and I feel like 2015 will be the year where everything comes together and begins to make more sense. Or at least, that’s the hope!

I can see now that I achieved quite a few things, and I feel that in 2014 I created some very important connections that will make 2015 far more spectacular.

Happy New Year!

New Twin Flame Oracle Readings

In the last week, I’ve recorded and posted two Oracle Card readings, and both questions were about Twin Flames. I know there are many Earth Angels out there who are having difficulties with their Flames, and I think the messages in these readings are relevant to a lot of us.

As I edited the videos, I had to laugh, and tell myself – “That bit was a message to you.” I find it much easier to give advice, than to take it. And taking my own advice? I find that even harder to do. And yet, I know that if I listen to myself and go within, I already have the answers to my questions, I already know what I need to do.

So I see these readings as reminders rather than advice. Reminders of what you already know, deep within.

If you would like to ask a question and receive your reminder, please do email me at theamethystangel@hotmail.co.uk.

Announcement! New book title unveiled!

I know that I haven’t yet published the latest book in the Earth Angel series – The Twin Flame Reunion, but I’m excited to announce the title of the next one in the series, that will be published in the new year. It will be called:

The Twin Flame Retreat.

I have written twenty thousand words of the book so far. It has a slightly different structure to The Twin Flame Reunion, and it follows different characters, so you get a different perspective on the story. I haven’t got a cover design yet, but I will post it here as soon as I do! I have created this quote photo using a quote from the brand new book, I hope you like it! As always, please feel free to share it!

I better get back to my writing. You can pre-order The Twin Flame Reunion from Amazon now, and I will keep you updated on when the print version will be available.

Twin Flames Series

The Twin Flame Reunion

A little update for those who follow my blog, but don’t follow my Facebook or Twitter threads – The Twin Flame Reunion, my latest book, will be available to pre-order on Kindle from the 1st November, well that’s the plan anyway!

As for my other plans, well, this book has thrown a bit of a curve-ball. My original intention for this book, is that it would fill in the 20 year gap that was left at the end of The Earth Angel Awakening (hopefully that’s not too much of a spoiler for anyone who has yet to read it!) and so, I started writing, and 40,000 words later, I realised I had covered just a few months out of that twenty year time span. Ah.

So, it appears that this will not just be a single book, but three. Why three, you might wonder, why not two? I say three because that’s the number I keep getting. Of course, as we all know, things might change once the writing begins. So, for all the Earth Angel series fans, this of course is excellent news – two extra books you weren’t expecting! It was just a bit of a surprise to me, and now I’ll have to work out what to call the other two…

But I am still going ahead with my original plan to get this book published before Christmas, which will be quite a mission, because I have a few other plans up my sleeve at the moment, which could make life very interesting in the next few months!

**SPOILER ALERT****

If you haven’t read The Earth Angel Awakening, you might not want to read on!

Because I’m in a teasing mood, I have decided to post a tiny excerpt here from the new book, which I hope to finish writing this week!

They had waited until all who wanted to return had left, and then had chosen whose lives and bodies they wanted to walk into. They hoped that their choice would ensure they would meet again once they got to Earth.

“What if we don’t find each other?”Aria whispered, as she stared into the white mists.

“Don’t be silly, of course we will,” Linen responded, his hand tightening around hers. “I will make sure of it.” They turned to each other and kissed for a long time, until Gold had to clear his throat to snap them out of it.

Aria looked over her shoulder and smiled at him. “Sorry! See you again soon.”

Gold smiled, but his right eye twitched as he replied. “I look forward to it.”

Without any further hesitation, Linen and Aria flew into the mists, not letting go of each other’s hands until the last moment.

I will keep you updated! I hope to reveal the new cover soon…

The Writer’s Blog Tour

A big thank you to the lovely Lisa Fuqua, who invited me to take part in this Blog Tour, you can read Lisa’s post here.

lisa

So here is my contribution to the tour, I will be nominating two writers to continue the thread at the end!

What am I currently working on?

My work in progress is the latest novel in the Earth Angel series, which I have called The Twin Flame Reunion. It is not a sequel as such, but a missing piece from The Earth Angel Awakening. It follows the reunions of five Twin Flame couples, as they Awaken, reunite, and go through the struggles that so many Twin Flames are going through at the moment. As usual, I had no idea what I was going to write, or what was going to happen, and as the words flow through me, I am amazed at how the characters and events are coming together, and how much they are mirroring my own experiences at this very moment. I can’t wait to see where the story goes, and in turn, what effect that has on my life, as quite often, what I write in my books comes true in real life…

How does my work differ from others in my genre?

My genre, that of Spiritual or Visionary Fiction, is a fairly undeveloped genre at the moment, though it is growing daily. I think that my books are a little different because I am not creating the stories – I am mostly channelling them. The stories come through me, not from me. Though my own experiences come into them, the overall plot and the characters come to me when I sit down to write. It feels more like I am describing a memory or writing what I can see in another dimension than actually making it up. And that can be a scary process, because I really just have to trust that the next part of the story will arrive, and that it will all make sense, and will be interesting and readable. My last book, I’m Here, was co-written with a spirit, and that was tough for me, because though it was easy to channel his words, I had to really push myself to write my side of the story, which was really hard work!

Why do I write what I do?

I don’t think I could write anything else, because when I sit down to write, the words come through and it’s not always in my control. I think my books contain messages and stories that people need to read or hear. And they are also my way of dealing with being in the world. From the feedback I’ve had so far, they have helped many people to figure out who they are, and what their purpose on Earth is. Which is why I keep writing. Because who knows how many people the next book will help?

How does my writing process work?

I have a netbook that I write my novels on, and I use Scrivener to write them in, because I love the folder system, the corkboards and the automatic backup, which has saved my sanity and soul many times. I usually sit on my bed, or in a cafe or even in parks to write, and I like to set crazy deadlines, Nanowrimo-style, to get me motivated to finish them in time. I sometimes have a scene or a concept in my mind, but mostly, I just put my fingers to the keyboard and see what comes through. If I think too much, then I get in the way of the words, and I stop flow, and if that happens, the best thing I can do is to close the computer down, walk away from it and do something completely different. I like to have music playing that sets the right tone for what I am writing. Sometime I will get stuck on a single song, and I will play it on repeat so it becomes almost like white noise, blocking the rest of the world out.

So that’s me! I nominate the following two fabulous writers to continue the Writer’s Blog Tour, and invite them to tell us about their writing.

Rebecca Pillsbury

10245352_10152453234595135_5140624298381648095_n

Though one of her childhood fantasies was to have superhuman powers that allowed her to travel instantaneously around the globe—or at the very least, fly—it is Rebecca’s distinctly human persona that causes strangers and dogs alike to want to be her new best friend. With a commitment to spreading joy and inspiring others to let go of shame and let shine their light, Rebecca unabashedly reveals her own vulnerability so that others may feel safe exploring their own.

Even as a young child growing up in Wisconsin, Rebecca found solace in writing stories, drawing inspiration from faraway places. Her wanderlust was fed as a young adult via worldwide pen-pal relationships, which gave way to her own international travels in her adult life. It was during her travels that she was exposed to new spiritual guides, paving the path for her journey-inspired transformational writing. Rather than simply leading readers to travel vicariously through her stories, however, she inspires readers to write their own stories.

Rebecca currently resides in Portland, Oregon, though you may not find her there year-round—a vagabond spirit cannot be tamed. You could look for her frolicking in forests or careening on rocks by the sea, but you’ll have better luck following her via her blog or on Facebook.
