Do you have Angelic Compulsive Disorder?

On EarthAngelTV, I interviewed Roberta Smart, a beautiful Earth Angel, Coach and Comedienne. During this interview, (which was so much fun to do!) she hit upon something that most Earth Angels suffer from. And the name she gave it was – Angelic Compulsive Disorder. ACD. It is the compulsion that Earth Angels have to help others, to make other people’s lives better, and to be of service, even when it is detrimental to their own health and wellbeing.

Roberta came back on EarthAngelTV later to talk a bit more about ACD, and she has now put together a course for Earth Angels who feel they have ACD and wish to learn how to control it and take better care of themselves. You can find out more about the course here, and please do join Roberta’s Facebook group to connect with others in a similar situation.

Though helping others is an inbuilt programme for most Earth Angels, it really isn’t necessary for them to run themselves into the ground for the sake of everyone else. So please, if you feel like you are exhausting yourself to be of service to others, take a step back, say no to requests for help and put your own needs first. At least until you have regained your health and energy. Because you are important, and so is your wellbeing.

EarthAngelTV is now available!

You can now watch the first 6 episodes of EarthAngelTV on YouTube and Instagram. These first 6 go through the different types of Earth Angel, then there will be a new episode every week on Saturdays about topics related to Earth Angels and Twin Flames.

There will also be interviews with Earth Angels who are living their missions on this planet, which will be aired at random times, so please do subscribe to my YouTube channel so you get notifications on when a new episode is out.

EarthAngelTV is coming soon!

On the first of September 2018, I will be launching my TV show – EarthAngelTV! For the first week there will be a video released each day, then there will be a video released every Friday. These videos will contain information on Earth Angels and Twin Flames, and I will touch on different topics and questions in each one. If you would like to ask a question, contact me!

There will also be interviews released on my channel in-between the weekly videos, and other bonus content too! I am so excited to be launching this, I hope it helps more Earth Angels realise who they really are and how amazing they are, coming to this crazy planet to help people!

Angels in Your Life

On the 12th March, I will be at the Angel’s in Your Life event in Chepstow, a day filled with talks about Angels and lots of stalls selling all things Angel-related! I will be giving a talk about Earth Angels, as well as have a stand with my books and oracle cards.

If you’d like more information, then hop on over to the Facebook page for the event. It’s on from 10am to 4pm, and looks like it’s going to be a wonderful day! I will try to get some photos of it, often at these events I’m so busy chatting that I forget to take pictures!

It’ll be my first event of 2016, but I am sure will not be my last, in fact I have lots of really exciting plans for this year which I am itching to tell you all about, but am waiting for things to be finalised.

I promise though, you will be the first to know when I do!

In other news and spring updates, there are new Oracle Reading videos on my YouTube channel, and I have begun releasing the episodes of a series called The Stories Behind the Stories. These videos feature me talking about what happened behind the scenes of writing and publishing the Earth Angel series.

Also, the online Earth Angel Training Academy is growing all the time, there are two classes available at the moment, with the third being created right now! Banish the Fear of Public Speaking

Up until 2012, I had a fear of public speaking. Not just a fear, but every time I got in front of a groups of people larger than four or five, I would go bright red, my knees would shake like crazy, my heart would hammer, and I would stutter over my words. If I didn’t have a script in front of me, or some kind of prompt, I wouldn’t remember what to say.

I had tried to get over the fear, but because it was a physical reaction, not just an emotional or mental one, I figured it was just part of who I was, and that I might never be free of it.

In 2005, during a short stint in Uni, I found myself in need of cash, and staring at a poster for a public speaking competition. The prize was £160. To enter you had to write and give a five-minute talk on any subject. I chose to talk about Geopathic Stress, because I had just come across the subject a few months before and I found it really interesting. I wrote a script and I rehearsed it.

On the day, I sat in the front of the lecture room, which wasn’t full, so there was probably only about 30 or 40 people there. I tried to keep calm but my heart was hammering away and my palms were sweating. Then the guy who did his talk before me, about dreams, decided to include me in his talk, by presenting me with a bunch of flowers. Cue bright red cheeks. When I finally got up there to speak, I had to grip onto the sides of the lectern because my knees were pure jelly. I stumbled through my talk, (getting my revenge on the dreaming flower man, by using him to demonstrate muscle-testing for Geopathic Stress lines) and was relieved when it was all over. We had to wait while the judges went out the back to deliberate, but by then, I didn’t really mind what the outcome was, I was just glad that I had done it. Even if it had been a bit embarrassing.

Amazingly, I won the competition. They liked the unusual topic, and I think it helped that none of them had even heard of it before, and so learnt something new. You’d think that winning the competition would be enough to get me over my fear.

Unfortunately, it did not have that effect. (Though the prize money was very useful)

So fast forward to 2012, when I attended a 4networking meeting. During the meeting, I had to stand up and do a 40 second pitch about my business. Cue bright red cheeks, jelly legs, stuttering and reliance on a script. Despite this, the guy running the meeting said if I joined the network, I should sign up to do a 4sight – which was a 10 to 15 minute talk on something interesting (not a business pitch). Gulp.

Determined to get my business off the ground, and to get over my fear once and for all, I did just that. I joined the network, and I signed up to do a 4sight. But no matter how many 40 second pitches I did, I still couldn’t eat my breakfast before I spoke, and I still couldn’t pick up my teacup for a few minutes afterwards because my hands would be shaking. I had no idea how I was going to speak for 15 minutes, and remain standing and not come out with gibberish.

Then, just days before my first 4sight, the Angels heard my pleas for help and sent me a video on youtube. It was an EFT video on how to get rid of your fear of public speaking. I followed the video, and then the next time I did a 40 second pitch, I noticed my hands and knees weren’t as shaky and I stumbled less over my words. I did the tapping routine a couple more times, then on the day of my first talk, after not enough sleep, thanks to a late night event the night before, I bounced into the meeting at 7.30am, ate a whole bar of chocolate, decorated the room with angel and faerie paraphernalia, got dressed in my faerie outfit complete with wings, stuffed down all my breakfast, then delivered a talk about Earth Angels that had the whole room in stitches. They laughed so much that I didn’t even have time to complete the talk. Afterwards, everyone wanted to know what I was on, because I had so much energy and enthusiasm.

Throughout the whole thing, the only physical symptom I had was a slight quiver in my knee.

Since my 4networking days, I haven’t done much public speaking, a couple of talks on Earth Angels, and a pitch to a film networking group, and though I still get a little nervous at times, I really quite enjoy it. Making the oracle card videos has also helped me to get used to speaking, even though my audience is just a camera.

Goodbye 2014! Hello 2015!

Happy New Year Everyone!

2014 was a weird year, both a long and a short one, a happy and a sad one. Just thought I would write a summary of the year, in order to acknowledge and release the old, to make way for the new that 2015 will bring. It’s a long post, so grab a cuppa!

I started the year with an amazing Harry Potter themed birthday party. I had mixed feelings about turning 30. Part of me was more than ready to say goodbye to my twenties, and another part of me was listing all of the things I had hoped to have done by this time but hadn’t. In truth, as I near my 31st birthday, I don’t really feel all that different, and when I tell people my age, it feels merely like a random number, than something that has any significance.

Also in January, I began my ‘Ask an Angel’ Oracle readings on my YouTube channel, inviting people to ask Aria, Amethyst or Velvet a question which I would then answer with their oracle cards. In 2014, I recorded twenty readings, and half of those were questions about Twin Flames, which is what inspired me to write more on the subject, as you can see from the many posts now on my blog.

My most popular blog post in January was my views on how to deal with criticism, after becoming the subject of derision in someone else’s blog.

In February, I embarked on the Man Brain Box Experiment, and though I only did it for a week, it did remind me that in fact, having a single focus make you far more productive than if you are to multi-task. I think it’s increasingly difficult, in this age of the internet and social media, to retain a single focus on anything, with so many demands for our attention (she says, surrounded by her phone, iPad and open tabs on her laptop) it can be difficult to shut out all the distractions and get on with something, and put everything you have into it. But I do think it’s worth it.

In March, I finally finished writing I’m Here, which I had started and stopped writing two Novembers previously and seemed to be stuck on. I was so happy to finally finish it, and when coming up with cover ideas, I had the inspiration to change the covers of three of my previous books, and bring them together into a collection. With the help of my awesome sister, I then set to work on getting the new covers of the Visionary Collection sorted out, and I released the whole collection, including the new book, in May. The paperbacks were delayed by technical issues, but finally came out by August.

In March I also had a few realisations on my plans, and on whose advice to listen to, and when to take it with a pinch of salt. I also discovered the wondrous joy of Scapple and had a go at using the Chronodex to organise my life.

In April I celebrated the 5 year anniversary of the birth of the first few words of the The Earth Angel Training Academy, and reviewed the journey with the book so far. I took part in the Wellness Symposium in Cirencester, I was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award, and I revealed the new covers for the Visionary Collection for the first time.

In May I embarked on the I’m Here Book Tour, to celebrate the release of the new book, by giving away little cards all around the world, that contained a QR code allowing you to download a free PDF copy of the book. I had so much fun with this idea, and was really pleased with how it went. The tour continued with gusto throughout June, and in that month I teamed up with Sarah Vine, founder of the Earth Angel Sanctuary, to offer her members a free copy of The Earth Angel Training Academy, and I also wrote a letter to all Twin Flames, after seeing so many beautiful souls searching for answers on the subject.

In July, I attended the Healing Weekend, and had an amazing time, I recorded the first chapter of The Elphite as an audiobook, I recorded a video of some crazy deer in the garden, which went viral on YouTube (over 26k hits now!), I did a talk and sold books at the MBS Psychic Fayre in Newport, and I relaxed and went with the flow when things seemed to be going very wrong.

In August, the paperback editions of the Visionary Collection became available on Amazon, I was interviewed by Sarah Vine, and I embarked on a new adventure to the vibrant city of Brighton. I began to write more about Twin Flames, and at the very end of August, I started writing my latest book, The Twin Flame Reunion. I met one of my fans, Chip Jenkins, who is now one of my closest friends.

September was my quietest blogging month of 2014, due to my full time job, doing 50 hour weeks left me with little energy to write. I blogged about listening to your own intuition, and then at the end of the month, about knowing your own worth and not settling for less. The highlight of the month came in the form of a beautiful letter from a man who had decided that his life was worth living after reading The Earth Angel Training Academy.

In October, I took part in the Writer’s Blog Tour, I finished writing The Twin Flame Reunion and I started offering guidance sessions to fellow Earth Angels.

In November I released the cover for the Reunion, I blogged about the idea of changing our own fate, I started writing the next book in the Earth Angel series – The Twin Flame Retreat – and completed it in two weeks, and I released the Visionary Collection Kindle Boxset.

Okay, one month left!

In December, I celebrated winning Nanowrimo, even though I didn’t join in until the 16th November, I released the Earth Angel Series Boxset on Kindle, I started my Adventure with Astrid, and I decided to spend my Christmas in London, taking part in the Basket Brigade and volunteering for Crisis for Christmas. I also packed up and left Brighton, and am currently figuring out my next move.

So to sum up – a pretty busy year, lots of changes, challenges, high and low points, and I feel like 2015 will be the year where everything comes together and begins to make more sense. Or at least, that’s the hope!

I can see now that I achieved quite a few things, and I feel that in 2014 I created some very important connections that will make 2015 far more spectacular.

The Twin Flame Reunion

I have been struggling lately to find the time and energy to write my latest novel, which I have decided to call – The Twin Flame Reunion. Usually when I have trouble writing, it’s not just a case of lack of time or energy, but an underlying reason, that until I sort it out, it just doesn’t happen. This time, I think it is simply that this book is really important. It’s important to me, to my readers, and to everyone who is in the position where they have met their Flame, or are waiting to meet their Flame. There is so much that I want to include in the book, to bring comfort to the Earth Angels I know are hurting, that the pressure of getting it right then makes me freeze up.

Which is when I remind myself that I must trust. Trust that my angels, my guides will help me to write exactly what is needed. They have not let me down yet, and so I need to just let go of the pressure I feel and just allow the words to flow. The structure of the book is becoming more defined daily, and the stories of the Flames are intertwining beautifully. Although I will be cutting it fine (and asking a lot of my editors, beta readers and cover designer) I do plan to release the book by Christmas, and plan to set up the pre-ordering system on Amazon from the 1st November. I am also releasing two Kindle boxsets, one of the four books in the Visionary Collection, and then the first three books in the Earth Angel series.

I have other projects in the works too, including getting The Earth Angel Training Academy recorded as an audiobook and also translated into other languages. As I am doing it all myself (the joys of being an Indie!) these things will take a bit of time but I am confident that now the ball is rolling, things will start to happen.

I have been asked a question for the oracle cards, so I plan to record the reading this week and post it on youtube, I will keep you all posted of new developments!

I’m Here Soundtrack

As you can see in the menu above, I like to put together music that I think would be great on the soundtracks of the movie version of my books. For I’m Here, I decided to do it slightly differently, and put together a soundtrack for the book, a song for each chapter. I have put it together as a playlist on youtube, and on each song I have said which chapter it corresponds to. You could listen to the music while reading the book, as the songs I have chosen set the scene for what is happening. Weirdly, the song ‘Long Days’ even has a music video that relates really well to the story too.

Do you have a question for a Faerie?

Just thought I’d post the latest reading, this one was using the Aria cards. I decided to brave the chilly February breeze and go out into the woods with my wings on (yes, I am a little crazy) to do the reading.
